As a professional printmaker, Ann Ingerson specializes in etching processes. Her imagery is quite diverse and includes realistic landscapes at sunset, natural objects such as nautical creatures and florals approached with a contemporary flair, and even a bit of abstraction and fantasy. She is well known for photo-realistic black and white etchings. These are combined with traditionally etched images and deeply etched plates which create an embossed dimensional effect in the final print. Occasionally she enjoys experimenting with combinations of printmaking techniques to produce unique, one of a kind pieces.
